Onyx bats do NOT come with a warranty. However you can purchase a warranty for $100 within 30 days of original purchase (USSSA & ASA bats only). If the warranty is not used within 1 year or purchase, you can use the $100 for credit towards another Onyx Bat. 

Onyx carries licensing the following organizations; SSUSA (Senior Softball), USSSA and ASA/USA.

If you choose to break in your Onyx Bat, use ONLY 52-300 balls. Once you feel like the bat has opened up, we recommend you use it for games only as most of the Onyx bats are hot out of the wrapper and need very little break in. 

When we came out with our USSSA bats, we had 3 technologies that we used. CAT tech (carbon advanced technology), CFT tech (carbon flex technology) and MOD tech (modulus technology). CAT tech takes longer to break in and last longest. CFT tech is hot out of the wrapper and needs no break in period. Since it is so hot out of the wrapper, it is more fragile so NO BP and only use in games. MOD tech is the best of both worlds, it needs very little break in period and has good durability. 

Now that the new 240 rule is in place, we can no longer make the 220 bats anymore. However we do think the 240 has great performance!

The First SSUSA bat released was the Orange IMUA. The First USSSA bat released was the Green Bourgeois CFT. The First ASA/USA bat released was the First Born.
